Did the whole blockout and model in Max, and then took it to Zbrush to add dents and wear to it. Now just to finalize a low poly and some textures. Should be fun.
I like the result of your high poly, but how big is the texture going to be? 512 x 512? Or smaller? I would try 256 to see what you get. :P You think the normal will get all the little nooks (dents & scratches) on the edges? Also, this is just a relative comment/opinion regarding the design - I would have placed the handle bars on the bottom tray instead of the cover. lol That is just me though. Jeje, over all though, muy bueno hombre! Keep it up!
I was thinking a smaller texture. Maybe something more borderlands look alike. Or maybe i'll just do two takes and do one that has more realistic material and one more cartoony. It's a good idea tho.
About the handle, i thought about it. I even thought about adding two. But it made more sense to me so that the handle helped remove the lid. It's supposed to be really sturdy i guess. But i know what you mean. I'll change it and see how it looks.
